The Virginia High School League (VHSL) announced that I.C. Norcom High School has received two of its sportsmanship awards for the 2025-26 school year. 

First, Norcom earned the 2026 Stay in the Game Award for having no ejections from athletic contests across the entire school year. Norcom is one of only 62 member schools in the entire state to achieve this milestone.

Secondly, Norcom earned the 2026 Claudia Dodson Sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity Award. This award recognizes the school's exceptional commitment to promoting fair play, strong ethics and character in both athletics and academic activities.

The school will be formally honored for both awards at the VHSL General Membership meeting in Richmond, Thursday, Oct. 15.
