Services Offered
Academic counseling consists of assisting students and their parents to acquire knowledge of the curricula choices available to students, plan a program of studies, arrange and interpret academic testing, and research post-secondary academic opportunities. Career counseling helps students acquire information concerning future employment, apprenticeship programs, and post-secondary educational and career opportunities.
Personal and Social Counseling consists of helping students to develop an understanding of themselves, recognize the rights and needs of others, learn to resolve conflicts, define and work to reach goals, and reflect upon their interests, abilities and aptitudes. Such counseling may be provided individually and/or in groups.
