Math for Life

 Philosophy
Education is the development of basic skills, knowledge, processes, and attitudes necessary for the student to successfully function as a productive citizen in the 21st century.  Education recognizes the characteristics unique to each individual and provides a process for the development and expression of each student's abilities and talents.

The mathematics curriculum blends conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and application of mathematics content.  To meet the individual needs of all students, instruction and assessment are differentiated within the classroom to support the success of all students.

Research indicates that the completion of mathematics courses at or above Algebra II leads to greater success in the work place.

“Mathematics is the music of reason.”
