As 2020 begins, we hope that each and everyone of you in our school community has had a restful and peaceful time with family and friends during the winter break. As your Principal, I am forever grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with you in our efforts to impact the lives of young people. Our students are THE reason why we are building our school and community culture from the inside out.

Now that we have returned from winter break refreshed and rejuvenated, let us take a moment and reflect back on the first half of the school year (the great, the good, and the challenges we faced) and think about the steps we will take for our students to have better grades, better friendships, and better overall outcomes and that will positively enrich their experiences here at Cradock Middle School.

Progressing toward full accreditation and cultivating exemplary citizens, our school community is focused on success.  The collaborative vision boards that are proudly displayed in our building outline a clear vision of how each member of our school community will contribute to our efforts.

The goal is for our students to be even more successful than what they were at the start of the year by attending school regularly, seeking help if/when required or needed, studying, and knowing that their CMS family is here to support and uplift them.

Parents, please remember daily attendance is critical to accreditation and we expect our students to be present, in class on time, and  ready to learn. If your student is absent please submit a note within two days of your student’s return.

On behalf of the Cradock Middle School Family,

Dr. Damon Cary

Principal
