WELCOME BACK

It’s that time of year!  The holidays and extended break times are upon us and many of us are thinking about family trips for the holidays.  While preparing and planning for the break, let us keep in mind the importance of attendance toward our accreditation efforts. Parents and students, we continue to make education a priority here at Cradock and ensure that our students are here on time and ready to learn.

I am also reminded that we are about to close out 2019 and enter a new decade. As we embark on the 2020 new year, I reflect on how honored I am to be principal of Cradock Middle School. “Anchored to Excellence,” the CMS family has many accomplishments to be proud of thus far.  Two volleyball teams made it to the finals, three students were selected for All-District Chorus, we helped over twenty families celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, and 201 students made the honor roll for first nine weeks. Additionally, we have increased our benchmark one scores as well as decreased discipline and absenteeism of students.  I look forward to tremendous growth and celebration in our efforts, as we continue to sail towards accreditation in the 20/20 clear vision year.

CMS family, I want to thank you again for your continued support and wish you a warm, safe, and happy holiday season!  Dr. Damon E. Cary
